Nike Whittemore has consulted on Interior Arranging, Home Staging and Feng Shui design for over 150 homes in the Greenwich, Connecticut area.
Her company, Simply Placed Designs, offers a holistic approach to the (re) arrangement of space. Respectful of the person/place connection, Nike tailors recommendations based on the unique thoughts, moods and behaviors her clients wish to encourage and/or discourage in their personal spaces and ultimately, in their lives.
Trained in Interior Design and Feng Shui in New York, China and Japan, Nike successfully combines her knowledge of Eastern and Western design concepts to enhance the well-being of her clients, as well as the visual appeal and flow of their homes.
This has been especially beneficial when preparing homes for sale, resulting in quicker sales and higher values in the marketplace.
Nike holds certifications in Interior Design and Feng Shui from The Metropolitan Institute of Interior Design in New York and is a graduate member of the Interior Arrangement and Design Association. She has served as an officer and affiliate member of the Women’s Council of Realtors in Southern Connecticut for two years.
Nike has been featured in magazines and newspapers, including the Greenwich Time HOME Magazine, Stamford Advocate and Hartford Courant and has lectured extensively on how to use what one already has to create a home that looks and feels great.
